The new Canon LV-7590 Multimedia Projector boast 7000 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1800:1, plus it offers five optional lenses that enable it to be customized to a variety of front or rear projection applications as well as a Color Control Device that should deliver a better image clarity and more precise colors.

The five optional lenses include an Ultra Wide-Angle Lens (LV-IL01), Wide-Angle Zoom Lens (LV-IL02), Long-Focus Zoom Lens (LV-IL03), Ultra Long-Focus Zoom Lens (LV-IL04), and a 1.3x Zoom Lens (LV-IL05).

Devices can be connected to the Canon LV-7590 via the a HDCP compliant DVI-D interface that accepts 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480i video signals as well as all the standard monitor resolutions in use, but, unfortunately, the projector is only capable on displaying XGA (1024×768) resolution images, a pretty important inconvenient for a multimedia projector.

Chevrolet’s first entrant into the European MPV/family van segment, the Chevrolet Orlando, will be one of the star attractions at the Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris on September 30, 2010, when the full production model makes its world debut. Carbon fiber, handling and ultra lightweight! That’s the guiding principle of Brabus for refining the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. The exclusive sport program comprises aerodynamic-enhancement components made from carbon fiber, ultra-lightweight forged wheels, an electronically adjustable smooth-ride suspension (Ride Control) suspension, a titanium exhaust system with bypass gate, and Brabus leather.

Extremely light yet enormously strong carbon fiber identical to the one used in Formula 1 racing was chosen as the material for the Brabus aerodynamic-enhancement components. Ford Racing has announced today the availability of a new, 2.3L twin-screw supercharger for the 2011 Mustang. When mated to the all-new 5.0L 4V TiVCT V8 engine, this 50-state-legal powertrain, can produce 624 hp SAE @ 6900 rpm and 536 lb-ft SAE @ 4700 rpm. This is the first Twin-screw unit available to consumers.

The new supercharger is Ford Racing’s first power upgrade component for the new 5.0 engine. It was developed by Ford Racing engineers, in close collaboration with Ford Motor Company’s powertrain engineers, Team Mustang, and key partners in Roush and Whipple. The supercharger is being seen for the first time Saturday at the annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Ford’s Mustang Alley display.

“Superchargers are the ultimate in power upgrades for Mustang enthusiasts,” says George Goddu, Ford Racing Performance Group Manager. “Calibration for a modern V8 engine, especially one with twin-independent variable cam timing, is incredibly complex. Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today released information and photography of the new, refined 2011 Nissan Murano, which is set to go on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide in mid-October. The second generation Nissan Murano, introduced just two years ago, now offers a refreshed grille and bumper design, new taillights, a new 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design and a number of interior and content refinements – all intended to keep Murano’s visually distinctive styling fresh and exciting.
