Samsung Joins “Skype Compatible” HDTV Bandwagon
LG and Panasonic aren’t the only manufacturers that will produce HDTVs with embedded Skype capability. Announced by Samsung Electronics, the new LED 7000 and 8000 series models will feature Skype’s embedded video chat software. The Samsung LED 7000 and 8000 series HDTVs include Samsung’s free Internet TV service but is limited to only selected online content. Skype video calls will be free, as will voice calls between Skype users but calls to landlines and mobile phones will cost a few pennies per minute.

2011 Fiat Punto Evo Abarth
The sporty new Fiat Punto Evo Abarth also features a new performance mode selection system that modulates engine, braking and steering action to offer a choice of two different driving styles – Sport and Normal – to suit road conditions and driver preference.
The mode selector is conveniently located on the central tunnel in front of the gear lever and lets you switch between the two modes quickly and easily, simply by moving a lever. The currently selected mode is displayed on the dashboard. If you are looking for a safe, relaxing drive, all you have to do is select Normal mode, while if you feel the need to enjoy the full performance of your Fiat Punto Evo Abarth, flip the switch to Sport position and thrill to the power! Sport mode makes the car more responsive, using electrical servo systems to modify handling and deliver the ultimate sporting feel. Due attention has also been paid to safety of course, so Sport mode also engages the TTC system automatically.
As in rally cars, the driver is assisted by GSI (Gear Shift Indicator). On the Fiat Punto Evo Abarth, GSI acts like an intelligent “co-driver” and provides a signal on the instrument panel to tell you when the right moment has arrived to shift up reducing fuel consumption.

2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta

TRUtablet 9 Windows 7 Tablet PC
When the Apple iPad was introduced it took the tablet PC market to a higher level and a few persons might have thought that Windows would be left out in the cold, but it is not so. Introducing Windows answer to the iPad, an 8.9-inch multi-touch LCD tablet PC namely the TRItablet 9.
The TRUtablet 9 tablet PC features a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor, Intel’s GMA950 integrated graphics, 16GB internal storage memory (expandable up to 128GB), 1GB onboard 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (expandable to 2GB), a 1.3 Megapixel and 3G HSDPA or CDMA, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.0, MiniSD/MMC card slot, and three USB 2.0 ports. It also sports built-in speakers, 3.5mm audio jack and audio line. In the basic configuration, the TRUtablet 9 has costs $649. It is available for pre-order next week and start shipping in March 2010.
Viliv S10 Blade Tablet
The 10-inch touchscreen tablet that was showcased by Viliv at CES 2010 named S10 Blade will become available for purchase soon. The S10 Blade Tablet sports a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen displaying at 1366×768 pixels, a 60GB hard drive, 1GB of memory, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 CPU, and run on Windows XP. For those who wish for higher performance, the S10 Blade upgradable options includes a faster 2GHz Atom Z550 processor, and a 32GB or 64GB SSD, a 3G HSDPA and Windows 7 Home Premium. No word on the official sales date but Dynamism will be taking orders for the Blade for a starting price of $699.
Lenovo Thinkpad W701, 16GB of RAM and USB 3.0
The new 17-inch Thinkpad W701 laptop from Lenovo is one of their many high-end laptops that comes with USB 3.0 ports and 16GB of memory. The Thinkpad W701 is equipped with a 2.0GHz Quad-Core i7 processor, an optional 160GB capacity or an SSD with a 128GB capacity, and a Quadro FX3800M graphics card that allows pro-level 3D rendering.
The Lenovo Thinkpad W701ds model has a slide-out 10 inch secondary display and has a palm-rest tablet for photo editing. The standard Lenovo Thinkpad W701 has a starting price of $2,199 that gives you a quad 1.73GHz Core i7 processor and the Quadro FX2800M graphics chip.
