2011 Aston Martin DB9
In the most significant programme of upgrades since its world debut in 2003, Aston Martin DB9 range has received a complete package of styling, engineering and equipment enhancements.
As the most successful Aston Martin of all-time (an honour it shares with the V8 Vantage) the DB9 has established itself as the definitive grand tourer, thanks to an enduring combination of understated elegance, sporting character and genuine luxury.
For Dr Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin’s Chief Executive, the Aston Martin DB9 remains a very special car: “The DB9 is the quintessential sporting grand tourer and offers an unrivalled combination of driver involvement, character, luxury and refinement. This car combines our unique Aston Martin character with an uncompromised design philosophy, craftsmanship and trademark Aston Martin performance ability.”
This new package of improvements compliments these core qualities perfectly. Subtle styling changes freshen the Aston Martin DB9′s appearance, with a new front bumper, bright finish radiator grille and a re-shaped lower intake featuring bright hexagonal mesh. New headlight bezels, re-styled sills, silver brake calipers, 20-spoke diamond turned alloy wheels and clear rear light lenses complete the external revisions.
Introducing the Spirra Supercar
The history of the Spirra dates back to the beginning of the 1990s when Han-chul Kim and his wife Ji-sun Choi, both talented automotive experts, quit their jobs in leading Korean car companies to establish ‘Proto Motors’.
Proto Motors was an automotive R&D firm specializing in developing advanced automotive concepts with industry clients and soon after settling down as a startup, ideas for a domestic developed supercar started to blossom.
Over several years, what began as an enthusiastic set of ideas developed into a full blown development project. In 2001, the ‘PS-II’ prototype was presented to the press with full commitment to bring it into production.
The difficulties in establishing a small scale, hand built production line of such exotic cars in an industry purely adapted to mass production was so great, the project saw several crisis that would nearly force it to a halt.
In July, 2006, Dong-hyuk Park, CEO of Oullim Group established Oullim Motors, absorbed Proto Motors and reshuffled the project to keep in on course for launch. In the end, it took a decade, 4 generations of complete re-engineering, certification and rewriting of legislature to bring our dream to the road.
2011 BMW M3 Frozen Gray
Nearing the 25th anniversary of the original BMW M3, BMW of North America announced a production run of thirty identically-equipped 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Gray Coupes for the United States. The 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Gray Coupe features a special matte-gray paint with a deep metallic luster to further accentuate the athletic lines of the legendary M3. Unique Fox Red / Black bi-color Novillo leather interior is also specified. This is the first and only opportunity to obtain Frozen Gray Metallic exterior paint on the M3 for the 2011 model year in the United States. MSRP will be $77,600.
Each 2011 M3 Frozen Gray Coupe will be powered by the now famous 4.0-liter, 414-horsepower M V8 and equipped with BMW’s M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT). Also specified is the new M3 Competition Package, which adds an exclusive set of 19-inch wheels and other upgrades. Additionally, each purchase of the 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Gray Coupe will include a one-day enrollment at the BMW Performance Driving School in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Gray Coupe continues the tradition of innovation and passion for driving by incorporating key changes to the M3′s dynamic qualities. The equipped Competition Package reduces vehicle ride height by 10mm and includes unique 19″ wheels with wider offset for enhanced stability, standard Electronic Damping Control with enhanced programming, and higher-threshold programming for the M Dynamic Mode. The 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Gray Coupe is also equipped with the M Double Clutch Transmission (M DCT) which lowers the 0-60mph acceleration time of the M3 to 4.5 seconds from 4.7 (6-speed manual).
2011 Land Rover Range Rover
The all-new 4.4-litre LR-TDV8, specifically designed for the Land Rover Range Rover, replaces the 3.6-litre LR-TDV8 and combines substantially increased performance with greatly reduced emissions. Acceleration from rest to 60mph takes 7.5 seconds compared to 8.6 seconds for the previous 3.6-litre LR-TDV8, while top speed increases from 125mph to 130mph. More important, mid-range acceleration from 50mph-75mph has improved substantially, falling from 6.3 seconds to just 5.1 seconds. Yet CO2 emissions have dropped from 294g/km to just 253g/km compared to the outgoing LR-TDV8 3.6-litre, a massive 14 percent reduction. Most impressive of all, combined fuel economy has improved by 18.5 percent from 25.4 mpg to 30.1 mpg making this the first Range Rover to dip above the 30mpg barrier. The new engine also meets the stringent EU5 emissions standards, so emissions of NOx, CO2 and HC are among the lowest in the world for an engine of this type.
Despite these dramatic reductions, power and torque have soared, from 272PS and 640Nm, to 313PS at 3,750rpm and a staggering 700Nm torque at just 2,000rpm. More important is the way the power and torque interact with one another for impressive overall performance. Maximum torque is available from 1,500rpm to 3,000rpm but then maximum power kicks in from 3,250rpm to 4,000rpm producing a wall of performance from idle onwards. None of this has been achieved at the expense of refinement though and the 4.4-litre LR-TDV8′s power delivery remains silky smooth and whisper quiet throughout the engine speed range.
2011 Suzuki Swift
Suzuki is pleased to announce the first images and preliminary information of the new, third generation Suzuki Swift which goes on sale in the UK in the Autumn of 2010.
Suzuki held the world premiere line off ceremony for mass production of the new car at its Magyar Suzuki Corporation production facility at Esztergom, in Hungary.
The all-new Suzuki Swift is positioned as Suzuki’s latest world strategic model and makes strong developments in styling, impact safety, driving performance, handling, improved fuel consumption and significantly lower emissions.
Extensive use of higher strength steel makes the new bodyshell lighter and stiffer than before as well as offering refinement in underbody design. This latest body design has also helped improve impact safety for pedestrians as well as occupants.
Increased track and larger diameter wheels with lower profile tyres allow for even better handling than the already highly acclaimed outgoing Suzuki Swift that first went on sale in 2005.

Ferrari 612 GTO by Sasha Selipanov
I am not really a lover of Ferrari cars just because I haven’t seen a design that would knock me off my feet. Now, I am not saying that Ferrari doesn’t have some really nice cars but for me, the only thing I really like is the horses they are powered by. To be honest, I never thought I’d see the day when someone designs a Ferrari that I would actually love, I just hope it is powerful.
Thanks to Sasha Selipanov (aka the Angry Car Designer) of Berlin, Germany for designing the Ferrari 612 GTO, the Ferrari which earn a spot in my heart. I just hope the “612″ is the amount of Horsepower it pushes.
