Canon LV-7590 Multimedia Projector

The new Canon LV-7590 Multimedia Projector boast 7000 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1800:1, plus it offers five optional lenses that enable it to be customized to a variety of front or rear projection applications as well as a Color Control Device that should deliver a better image clarity and more precise colors.

The five optional lenses include an Ultra Wide-Angle Lens (LV-IL01), Wide-Angle Zoom Lens (LV-IL02), Long-Focus Zoom Lens (LV-IL03), Ultra Long-Focus Zoom Lens (LV-IL04), and a 1.3x Zoom Lens (LV-IL05).

Devices can be connected to the Canon LV-7590 via the a HDCP compliant DVI-D interface that accepts 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480i video signals as well as all the standard monitor resolutions in use, but, unfortunately, the projector is only capable on displaying XGA (1024×768) resolution images, a pretty important inconvenient for a multimedia projector.

Samsung Galaxy S is now DivX Certified

Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S is now DivX Certified for HD video playback at a resolution of 720p. This makes it the worlds first Android mobile phone to reach this certification level.

Gigabyte Revealed N550-powered Convertible Tablet Notebook

The next Notebook/Laptop manufacturer to jump into the Intel Atom N550 bandwagon is Gigabyte, with its rather premium GA-T1005M tablet PC. The Gigabyte T1005M appears to be an updated version of the Gigabyte T1000 TouchNote series. The GA-T1005M convertible tablet PC has 10.1 inch screen with native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and capacitive multitouch features. It is backed by Windows 7 Home Premium to take advantage of the touchscreen. Under the hood is the Atom N550 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of DDR3 memory, Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 320 GB HDD; connectivity which includes WiFi b/g/n, gigabit Ethernet, 3.5G HSDPA, and Bluetooth 2.1. Expansion is care of a number of USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot, and a 4-in-1 media card reader. A 1.3 megapixel camera is embedded on top of the screen, and the 6-cell battery makes for the rest of it. The Gigabyte T1005M sells for $905 Australian, or about $798.

MSI GT660R/GX660R Gaming Laptop Hits Japan

The 16-inch panel boast a resolution of 1366 x 768, the Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, the Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, the Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0 port (x2), USB2.0 pots, an eSATA/USB Combo port, VGA, and HDMI port. Lastly, the gaming laptop features a 9 cell battery that offer only 3hours of life span, an HD webcamera (720p), and LED Lights on the Laptop’s edge.

The GX660R is quite similar to the GT660R. It comes with a 15.6-inch LED LCD Backlighted screen in WXGA Resolution (1366×768) or WUXGA resolution. It boasts up to 12 GB of DDR3, 500GB of HDD, and an ATI Radeon Mobility HD5870 (1GB of VRAM) GPU. For the rest of the specs, as well as the design, this laptop designed for the gamers are the same. JVC Released Two New Picsio Pocket Cameras

Two JVC pocket cameras announced today bring a new level of fun and ease-of-use to making and sharing videos and photos. The new PICSIO pocket cameras, the GC-WP10 and GC-FM2, both feature Full HD video, excellent low-light performance, a three-inch touch screen for easy operation and playback viewing, and compatibility with Eye-Fi cards for Wi-Fi connectivity. And for the ultimate in versatility, the PICSIO GC-WP10 is waterproof.

To produce stunning photos, PICSIO’s CMOS image sensor captures stills at up to five-megapixel native resolution without interpolation. It also records up to 1920 x 1080p/30 fps Full HD video with image stabilization for enjoyment on an HDTV via the camera’s HDMI output.
