The Acer Predator gaming desktops pack high-end hardware into a quite unusual case. The Predator is equipped with a quad-core Core i7 CPU with liquid cooling, a NVIDIA GTX 470 video cards with support for 3-way SLI. Acer uses up to 12GB of RAM inside the desktop. The new desktop is also 3D ready. A hot-swap drive bay can have up to 1.5TB of storage and four internal drive bays are offered with up to 8TB of storage. The new Predator desktop starts at $1999 and is available now.

Digital Storm has launched a new OPS Gaming Series dubbed the “Special OPS Series” which appears to be comprised of 10 uniquely named base systems ranging in price from $987 to $2,429. Despite the lower prices, Digital Storm says its Special Ops range has the same build quality as Black Ops PCs. To celebrate the launch of its new line, the company is offering a complimentary overclocking between 3.3GHz and 3.9GHz.

A while back I introduced MSI’s first 3D All-in-Ones, the Wind Top AE2420 and the Wind Top AE2280, but MSI has now officially announced the launch of the AE2280. The Wind Top AE2280 comes with a built-in 640GB hard drive,4GB of DDR3 memory, two SO-DIMM slots expandable to 8GB,and supports 802.11 b/g/n WLAN. The Wind Top AE2280′s built-in 1.3 MP webcam and two 5W hi-fi speakers are completely integrated into a uni-body casing. The AE2280 comes with six USB 2.0 ports, a built-in 6-in-1 card reader, HDMI inputs and VGA outputs, Mini PCI-E interface & optional TV Tuner, and supports standard VESA wall mounts. Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkCentre M90z, packing the full performance of a traditional desktop into a slick 23-inch display with beauty and brains. The new AIO doesn’t stray far from the norm in core specs, with hardware including choices of the latest Intel Core i5 and i3 processors, DDR3 memory, selection of hard drives or a solid state drive, a DVD player and optional WiFi/Bluetooth.

The M90z also takes web conferencing to a higher level with a number of optional features that give it both style and substance:

• Unique web camera on/off switch for physical control of the camera

The ESPRIMO FMV FH550/3AM will not only display user-generated 3D content on its 20-inch screen but also 3D Blu-rays and 3D video from other sources. Fujitsu plans to start selling the 3D PC in Japan on June 17. Price: $2,180 (including a wireless mouse, a remote control and a pair of 3D glasses).

The VAIO series of PCs and notebooks from Sony is well known to be stylish and their latest addition, the J Series is no exception. The new Sony Vaio J Series All-In-One PCs has a 21.5-inch Full HD touchscreen display with a 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core 13-350M processor and is equipped with an nVidia GeForce 310M graphics chip, 4GB of SDRAM memory, a 500GB hard disk drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There’s no pricing details as yet, but the VAIO J Series will be available from June 2010.

CyberPower is best known for their powerful gaming PCs and the latest addition to their inventory should be no different. Infact, CyberPower’s latest 3D Vision Gaming PCs sports the latest GeForce GTX 400 series graphics including the recently launched GTX 465. If that doesn’t knock your shoes off, customers can begin customizing a 3D-ready PC or a complete 3D Vision PC with 3D monitor and glasses. The 3D Vision PCs comes with options of a powerful Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processors or AMD’s six core Phenom processor. Starting price for the 3D Vision gaming PC series should start under $1,300.

MSI is set to grace the world with the first Multi-Touch Full HD 3D All-in-One PC at Computex TAIPEI beginning June 1, 2010. The All-in-One PC is dubbed “Wind Top AE2420 3D” and is powered by a choice of Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD series discrete GPU with DirectX 11 support. The Wind Top AE2420 3D has a 24-inch Full HD multi-touch display and a 120 Hz high scan frequency LED panel and exclusive 3D Shutter Glasses. There’s also a pair of built-in 5-watt speakers, an Ethernet jack, VGA output and a handful of USB 2.0 sockets.

NEC has announced a new 3D PC for the Japanese market dubbed Valuestar N VN790/BS which should be available as early as next month. The Valuestar N VN790/BS sports a 20-inch 3D display with a resolution of 1600×900 pixels, a Blu-Ray drive to view 3D content and DVD users will be able to switch between 2D and 3D. Other specifications and features includes an Intel Mobile Core CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard disk drive, 3W×2ch speakers, and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. The PC also comes with a pair of glasses (an extra pair will set you back $67), a remote control, an integrated TV tuner, and a wireless keyboard. The NEC Valuestar N VN790/BS should start shipping at the end of next month priced $2,450.
