Today Lenevo has announced the IdeaPad Y560d which is the company’s first multimedia laptop with a 3D display. The 15.6-inch Y560d 3D-enabled multimedia laptop, features the TriDef 3D technology solution, which includes a 3D screen with a 1366×768 pixel resolution, software and glasses. As for other hardware, the Y560d includes up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to a 750GB hard-drive (plus optional 32GB/64GB SSD), a choice of DVD or Blu-ray and standard WiFi b/g/n and Gigabit Ethernet. Other options include Bluetooth and 3G WWAN, while there’s a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a USB/eSATA combo, three regular USB ports, ExpressCard and both VGA and HDMI outputs.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d laptop is available by the end of June on Lenovo.com and will start at $1199.99.

Toshiba Japan has announced a new addition to the Dynabook line of laptop namely the Dynabook Qosmio V65 which is more of a high-end laptop, Blu-ray player and DTV in one. The Qosmio V65 sports a 15.6-inch Clear SuperView LED HD TFT screen with 1366×768 display resolution. Powered by Windows 7 Home Premium (32/64bit), the Dunabook Qosmio V65 comes packed with a 2.4GHz Intel Corei5-450M processor, 4GB of RAM memory (upgradable to 8GB), 500GB of hard disk storage, Blu-Ray drive, digital TV tuner, four USB ports, HDMI interface, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a 0.3MP CMOS webcam. Toshiba is planning to sell the Dynabook Qosmio V65 in Japan from June 17 (price: $1,960).
