Wortmann AG Launches Two New Full HD Monitors

Wortmann AG has announced two new Full HD monitors to its range by launching the 21.5-inch Terra 2220W and 23.6-inch Terra 2420W. Both of these monitors have TCO 5.0 and EnergyStar 5.0 certifications. Both have full support for Full HD media playback, thanks to their native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution. Also, they have a response time of 5ms and a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1. Furthermore, they boast D-Sub and DVI connectors, for compatibility with a variety of PCs. Finally, both new liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors have their own built-in speakers, so that one need not necessarily buy an extra set.

Panasonic VIERA GT25 Full HD 3D Plasma Series

Panasonic has revealed the VIERA GT25 Full HD 3D Plasma Series that features 42-inch class and 50-inch class screen sizes. The GT25 Series also includes 2D to 3D conversion which can convert a 2D image or video to 3D. The Active Shutter 3D Eyewear is required for viewing 3D content. The 42-inch model (TC-P42G25) retails for $1699.95, while the 50-inch model (TC-P50GT25) is priced at $2099.95. Both models will be available in late August 2010.

SECAUCUS, N.J., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Panasonic, a worldwide leader in Full HD 3D(1) technology, announced today the expansion of its award-winning line of Full HD 3D VIERA® Plasma TVs with the launch of the Panasonic VIERA GT25 Series of Full HD 3D Plasma TVs(2). The series will feature Panasonic’s first 42-inch class (41.6″ measured diagonally) Full HD 3D Plasma TV, broadening Panasonic’s range of Full HD 3D TV offerings and addressing consumer requests for a smaller 3D set for video gaming.

The VIERA GT25 Series features 42-inch class (41.6″ measured diagonally) and 50-inch class (49.9″ measured diagonally) screen sizes. The TC-P42G25 will have an MSRP(3) of $1699.95 and the TC-P50GT25 will have an MSRP of $2099.95. Both models will be available in late August 2010. Samsung Releases World’s Largest 3D LED HDTVs for the Home

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. announced four new 3D content exclusive to Samsung. The 65-inch UN65C8000 is a LED-backlit unit that supports Samsung’s Real 240Hz panel and Wi-Fi connectivity. This 3D LED HDTV is capable of producing an 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The 50-inch PN50C680 and 58-inch PN58C680 produce a 1080p display resolution on 600Hz panels. Both 3D HDTVs provide users the AllShare feature, allowing them to access media on other PCs or other DLNA-compatible devices. Finally, the 50-inch PN50C490 supports a lower 720p resolution display.

Samsung’s latest line-up of 3D-capable HDTVs and new Blu-ray 3D films underscore its ongoing commitment to give consumers compelling content and superior products that together deliver an outstanding 3D home entertainment experience in the home.

Sony Google TV Officially Official

Sony Corporation (hereafter “Sony”) today announced the launch of “Sony Internet TV,” the world’s first TV to be based on the “Google TV” platform announced by Google Inc.
