The new Canon LV-7590 Multimedia Projector boast 7000 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1800:1, plus it offers five optional lenses that enable it to be customized to a variety of front or rear projection applications as well as a Color Control Device that should deliver a better image clarity and more precise colors.

The five optional lenses include an Ultra Wide-Angle Lens (LV-IL01), Wide-Angle Zoom Lens (LV-IL02), Long-Focus Zoom Lens (LV-IL03), Ultra Long-Focus Zoom Lens (LV-IL04), and a 1.3x Zoom Lens (LV-IL05).

Devices can be connected to the Canon LV-7590 via the a HDCP compliant DVI-D interface that accepts 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480i video signals as well as all the standard monitor resolutions in use, but, unfortunately, the projector is only capable on displaying XGA (1024×768) resolution images, a pretty important inconvenient for a multimedia projector.

It has been 100 years now since Denon has been producing high-quality products and the company will soon be celebrating its 100th anniversary by releasing seven, limited quantity, Special Edition, devices to mark this very special moment.

These Special edition devices will be the PMA-A100 integrated amplifier, the DCD-A100 CD and SACD player the DL-A100 phono cartridge, the DPA-A100 turntable, the AVR-A100 9.2Ch AV receiver, the DBP-A100 universal BD player and finally, the AH-A100 overhead headphones.

All A100 products will be available beginning November 2010 at select Special Anniversary Denon dealers, the PMA-A100 Integrated Amplifier, DCD-A100 CD/SACD Player, DP-A100 Direct-Drive Turntable, AVR-A100 9.2 Channel A/V Receiver and DBP-A100 Universal Blu-ray Player all retailing for $2,499 while the DL-A100 Cartridge and AH-A100 Over-Ear Headphones will be available for $499.

Epson has revealed two new product that is said to be built for small and medium-sized businesses, namely the PowerLite 1220 and 1260 3LCD projectors which offers 2600 lumens color and white light output as well as USB Plug ‘n Play Instant Setup.

The USB Plug ‘n Play Instant Setup allows users to connect the projector to their notebook using a USB cable so there is no need to tinker with VGA or DVI cables and different video output options, plus it can used to hook up a USB memory device so there’s no need to run that presentation from your PC.

Resolution wise, the PowerLite 1220 is limited to the XGA standard (1024×768) while its older brother, the PowerLite 1260, supports 1280×800 WXGA and packs a HDMI input to playback high-definition video.

Both projectors use Epson’s E-TORL lamp technology that can last up to 5,000 hours in economy mode, the PowerLite 1220 and PowerLite 1260 being available for $649 and $749, respectively.

Mitsubishi is set to release their latest Full HD DLP projector in the form of the LVP-HC4000. This Full HD DLP projector is powered by the 0.65-inch DarkChip3 DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) chip that provides a native contrast ratio of 3300:1 and a brightness of 1200 Lumens. Measuring 345mm x 270mm x 129mm and weighing 3.6kg and capable to offer a size of 80 inch from a distance of 2.4m (Short focus), the Mitsubishi LVP-HC4000 also features a 230 Watts lamp, an HDMI port, Component port, S-Video Port, Composite and analog RGB port. Mitsubishi will release this Full HD DLP projector on September 27th, 2010 for 218 000 Yen or around $2,553,

Onkyo is now shipping the newest generation of its HT-RC home theater receiver line–adding two new models, the mid-priced HT-RC260 and the more upscale HT-RC270.

Both new models are high performance 7.2-channel systems with the latest 3D-Ready HDMI-1.4a interface for single-cable connection to most modern AV components. This interface supports lossless high-definition surround sound via Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio codecs. Both models also include Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz for added sonic dimensions, and Faroudja DCDI Cinema video processing to upscale video to full 1080p output regardless of the source resolution.

The Solidmicro SD-HK800 Portable Video Projector has a 640 x 480 resolution which might be a little disappointing compared to its competition. The Solidmicro SD-HK800 runs on Windows CE 5.0 and comes with 2GB of internal storage, support of microSD card up to 32GB, and directly play from its internal storage or memory card PowerPoint, Excel, Word or PDF files as well as MPEG/AVI/MP4/WMV/VOB video ones and MP3/WMA/OGG/APE/FLAC audio ones.

The EyeTV HD USB box is a DVR for your Mac which features component video and RCA audio inputs on the back, and connects to a cable- or satellite set-top box and rips video to H.264. Input runs up to 1080i (and 720p), as does output, and there’s one more trick. The box can simultaneously lay down iPhone and iPad-friendly video formats which you can either throw into iTunes to watch later, or stream direct to the device. The long anticipated merging of web with TV has finally arrived. The Logitech box will house an Intel Atom processor and will integrate with any HDTV and set-top box to bring the Google TV experience to your house, complete with a specialized Harmony remote that packs a keyboard, remote control, and touchpad. The Logitech companion box has all the technology of Logitech’s $400 Harmony 900 remote and extends it to your handset (e.g. Nexus One and iPhone) over WiFi. Several scrollable pages of dedicated buttons let that particular iPhone control not only the Google browser but also a Samsung TV, Onkyo receiver and TiVo set top box. Since Sony have already introduced the 3D Blu-Ray players and 3D TVs shouldn’t you also be expecting 3D-something. Well, if you were then this will be no surprise to you.

Sony now introduced to the world, the STR-DN1010, their first 3D-capable Receiver for those who need to pass through 3D video while internally decoding high res audio. Costing at just $500, the STR-DN1010 is naturally a 7.1 A/V receiver which boasts 110 watts of power per channel, along with four HDMI ports, support for Sony’s S-AIR wireless system, support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, 1080p video, and a Digital Media Port to accommodate iPod docks and other accessories, among other standard fare.

The non-3D models in the STR-series includes the STR-DH810 AV Receiver (110 watts power per channel for $400), the STR-DH710 AV Receiver (105 watts power per channel for $300) and the STR-DH510 AV Receiver (100 watts power per channel for $230). All models will become available in March.
