The new external storage launched dubded the Network Space MAX is designed to provide easy and secure home network storage. It features a Raid 1 setup and can be connected through the Ethernet port to a computer or to a router, and share and store all of your media files from anywhere in your house with the fastest speeds. The LaCie Network Space Max is available in two sizes, a 2TB and a 4TB for $279.99 and $479.99 respectively.

The Network Space MAX features a media server, making it easy to stream files to any connected computer or any UPnPTM/DLNA compliant device (such as a PlayStation 3 or Xbox). Computers with iTunes installed can also stream the music stored on the Network Space MAX.

Who would have thought the day would come when cars are use as hard drive? The kid in me is just yelling “GO GET ONE” and I will, one day. I wonder if I could get a Dodge Viper or a Lamborghini Murcielago or probably the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Flash Rods are custom made Flash and hard drives based around exotic cars. Actually owner Dave Hersch doesn’t make the drives or the cars, he just inserts drives into metal diecast models, but the result is still neat.

The Silicon Power has launched a new rugged external hard drive called the Armor A70 and it is water resistant, impact resistant, dust proof, and vibration resistant. While some of us are still using a 2GB/4GB/8GB flash drive, Kingston is busy maximizing the capacity of their USB flash memory stick. But why complain if they are the leading company in memory products, but don’t they think 256GB is a bit too hasty?

Today Kingston Digital, Inc. announced the release of 256GB USB flash drive named DataTraveler 310, this is also the first 256GB Flash drive in the United States. So what can be stored on this? Lets see, it’s able to store 365 CDs or 54 DVDs or 51,000 images. Who in the world would have 51,000 images, probably just a photographer. One nice feature about the DataTraveler 310 is the Password Traveler software which allows the user to create and access a password-protected privacy zone.

Many time I picked up my flash drive and wonder “what do I have on this” or “how much free space is left”. Many times I plugged it in to find something of importance that can’t be deleted and it has no free space or it not enough. This little USB flash drive could be helpful in those situations.

This super-simple USB flash drive device holds files. It plugs into your computer, really simple, and holds items like a folder would, helping you transfer from one computer to another.

But that’s normal! What this one innovates on is the display. Where most flash drives are blank or just have the size of the drive printed on the side, this one has a display which shows the actual space left!
