Plot Summary: No matter how old you are, you never get over high school Successful PR pro Marni (Kristen Bell) heads home for her older brother’s (Jimmy Wolk) wedding and discovers that he’s marrying her high school arch nemesis (Odette Yustman), who’s conveniently forgotten all the rotten things she did so many years ago. Then the bride’s jet-setting aunt (Sigourney Weaver) bursts in and Marni’s not-sojet-setting mom (Jamie Lee Curtis) comes face to face with her own high school rival. The claws come out and old wounds are opened in this crazy comedy about what happens when you’re reunited with the one person you’d like to forget.

Plot Summary: A remake of the controversial 1979 cult classic, “I Spit on Your Grave” retells the horrific tale of writer Jennifer Hills, who takes a retreat from the city to a charming cabin in the woods to start on her next book. But Jennifer’s presence in the small town attracts the attention of a few morally deprived locals led who set out one night to teach this city girl a lesson.

They break into her cabin to scare her. However, what starts out as terrifying acts of humiliation and intimidation, quickly and uncontrollably escalates into a night of physical abuse and torturous assault. But before they can kill her, Jennifer sacrifices her broken and beaten body to a raging river that washes her away.

As time passes, the men slowly stop searching for her body and try to go back to life as usual. But that isn’t about to happen. Against all odds, Jennifer Hills survived her ordeal. Now, with hell bent vengeance, Jennifer’s sole purpose is to turn the tables on these animals and to inflict upon them every horrifying and torturous moment they carried out on her… only much, much worse.

Plot Summary: Plague-ridden medieval England: Bodies lie scattered in their hundreds, the country is in turmoil. One hope remains, rumours of a village that is unaffected by the deadly disease. As God’s ambassador, young monk Osmund (Eddie Redmayne) is tasked in leading the fearsome knight Ulrich (Sean Bean) and his group of mercenaries to the remote village. Their quest is to hunt down a necromancer – someone able to bring the dead back to life.

Their journey is treacherous and filled with danger; encountering deadly bandits and vicious witch-burnings that will put their faith to the ultimate test. Though it’s upon entering the village that their true horror begins…

“You’re one of my best friends, don’t you wanna help me? We don’t have to have sex or anything, just… Will you be my baby daddy?” These are the words that would make any man’s day and Jennifer Lopez knows exactly when and how to say it. Don’t just go off having babies and throw them on a friend like that. It is wise to have back-up plans for your plans but it is also wiser to have back-up plans for your back-plans (I wonder if that makes sense?).

Plot Summary: After years of dating, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) has decided waiting for the right one is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she commits to a plan, makes an appointment and decides to go it alone. On the day of her artificial insemination, Zoe meets Stan (Alex O’Loughlin) – a man with real possibilities.

Trying to nurture a budding relationship and hide the early signs of pregnancy becomes a comedy of errors for Zoe and creates confusing signals for Stan. When Zoe nervously reveals the reason for her unpredictable behavior, Stan commits fully and says he’s in. Never before has love seen a courtship where a wild night of sex involves three in a bed – Stan, Zoe and the ever-present massive pregnancy pillow. Or, where “date night” consists of being the “focal point” at a near-stranger’s water birth which does for kiddie pools what “Jaws” did for swimming in the ocean. The real pregnancy test comes when both of them realize they really don’t know each other outside of hormonal chaos and birth preparations. With the nine month clock ticking, both begin to experience cold feet. Anyone can fall in love, get married and have a baby but doing it backwards in hyper-drive could be proof positive that they were made for each other.

Suicide Girls Must Die! Well, that is probably true unless someone save them.

When I saw the first few seconds of the trailer I thought “what the hell, this is just a damn reality show” and a few more seconds later the evil kicks in (what???). This is not much of a horrifying Horror, probably the producer thought by adding a “reality” touch would make it more scary, but girls disappearing is so last year. Come on man, lose the “reality show style” and in with the “graphic and gore,” anyways, cheers to the “first reality horror” (in movie form). Don’t take my words for it, probably it will scare the crap outta you.

Plot Summary: What is it about watching other people shaking in terror that freaks us out and yet still engages our attention? Why are movies like “The Blair Witch Project” and “Paranormal Activity” so successful with movie audiences? These are two horror films that blurred the lines of horror and reality.

One film steps further – “Suicide Girls Must Die!”

Here’s the hook: Twelve sexy, edgy, beautiful women from the famed Suicide Girls website (SuicideGirls.com) shoot a pin-up calendar while staying at a remote cabin in Maine. One by one, the girls start disappearing, leaving the others scared and running for their lives. Seen through the eyes of both hidden and the girls’ own cameras, this unscripted story captures the ladies – all non-actors and unaware their every move is being recorded – in the first reality horror movie of its kind.

Oh great, another wedding movie in which one family doesn’t like the other. It’s getting a bit annoying but it’s an everyday life. Who knows, probably this one offers something the others didn’t.

Plot Summary: “Our marriage, their wedding.” It’s lesson number one for any newly engaged couple, and Lucia (America Ferrera) and Marcus (Lance Gross) are no exception. In Fox Searchlight Pictures’ “Our Family Wedding,” they learn the hard way that the path to saying “I do” can be rife with familial strife. When they return from college and too suddenly announce their marriage plans, they soon discover that their fathers – two highly competitive over-the-top egos – can wreak a major amount of havoc on their special day.

With insults flying and tempers running high, it’s anyone’s guess if the alpha dads (Forest Whitaker and Carlos Mencia) will survive to make it down the aisle in one piece. Lucia’s mother (Diana Maria Riva) is busy planning the wedding of “her” dreams and the only levelheaded one in the bunch is Angela (Regina King), the groom’s father’s best friend and lawyer, who manages to keep her cool when the madness reaches a crescendo.

With only weeks to plan their wedding, Lucia and Marcus soon discover the true meaning of love and find there is truth to the saying – that when you marry someone, you marry their entire family.

It might not be obvious that the music industry is slowly dieing, but for those who notice and is wondering what could fix it should see this trailer/movie. Who’s in for some “Flush Tunes?”

Anyone wishes to see Sean “Diddy” Combs go funny, sorry I meant Comedy?

Plot Summary: “Get Him to the Greek” reunites Jonah Hill and Russell Brand with “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” director Nicholas Stoller in the story of a record company intern with two days to drag an uncooperative rock legend to Hollywood for a comeback concert. The comedy is the latest film from producer Judd Apatow (“The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Knocked Up,” “Funny People”).

Aaron Green (Hill) gets things done. The ambitious 23-year-old has exaggerated his way into a dream job just in time for a career-making assignment. His mission: Fly to London and escort a rock god to L.A.’s Greek Theatre for the first-stop on a $100-million tour. His warning: Turn your back on him at your own peril. British rocker Aldous Snow (Brand) is both a brilliant musician and walking sex. Weary of yes men and piles of money, the former front man is searching for the meaning of life. But that doesn’t mean he can’t have a few orgies while he finds it.
