Koenigsegg CCX vs Saleen S7 vs McLaren F1

The Koenigsegg “Competition Coupe X” (CCX) is a supercar which features a wonderful CC shape, was launched marking the 10th anniversary of Koenigsegg. The shell of the CCX is made of aluminum and it features carbon-fiber wheels with ceramic discs. The interior is made with carbon-fiber and sport luxurious leather seats and stylish dashboard.

The Saleen S7 is a high performance race car which sports aluminum and carbon-fiber body, as a result of this, the car is much lighter. At the front of the Saleen S7 you’ll find a pair of 19-inch alloy wheels and 20-inch alloy wheels at the back. This powerful supercar features a pair of 15-inch vented discs at the front and 14-inch vented discs at the back. The Interior of the S7 show off: leather seats, power window, power door lock and TV, DVD and FM system.

The McLaren F1 is the most powerful supercar – not in the world – but, produced by McLaren between the years of 1994-1998. When it was first introduced, its price was close to $1million. From the 100 cars manufactured: 65 are street version, 5 are LMs (marked the victory at Le Mans in 1995), 3 are GTs (road version of the GTR racer), and 28 F1 GTR. The McLaren is made of expensive materials such as: titanium, carbon-fiber, gold and carbon-fiber monocoque chassis. The McLaren was the world’s fastest car until the Bugatti Veyron was introduced.
The Saleen S7 is powered by a Twin-Turbo V8 engine which produces 750 brake-horsepower at 6300-revolution per minute. Falling behind on horsepower is the McLaren F1 which is motorized by a V12 engine that outputs a total of 627-bhp at 7400-rpm. And the most powerful of all three is the Koenigsegg CCX that is power-driven by a Supercharged V8 engine that generates a butt kicking 806 horsepower at 6900=rpm. There is nothing to compare when it comes to acceleration because all three supercar accelerate from 0-60-mph in just 3.2-seconds.
With the Koenigsegg CCX topping out at 245-mph; the Saleen S7 top-speed being 248-mph; and the McLaren F1 having a top-speed of 240, there is barely any gap between these super cars when it come to top-speed. And I must add that all these cars sport a six-speed manual transmission.
