PostHeaderIcon MSI’s New R5770 Hawk Graphics Card

The new graphic card from MSI is not following in the footsteps of the HD 5450 but that of the Radeon HD 5770, and is is optimized for high-end performance. The new graphic card namely the “R5770 Hawk” integrates a 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM set at 4800 MHz, a core clock of 850MHz; 800 Stream Processors; a 128-bit memory interface; a 7+1-phase power supply, which enables an overclocking ability by up to 20%; and a Twin Frozr II cooling system. The R5770 Hawk has DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for Eyefinity, as well as CrossFireX support. The MSI R5770 is expected to be released in the coming weeks for under $200.
