Olympus Announce New SP-800UZ, SP-600UZ, Stylus Tough 8010 and 6020

As you might already know the Olympus Stylus Tough cameras are shockproof, waterproof, crushproof and freezeproof powerhouses and now they are “delete-proof”. The new Stylus Tough-8010 and 6020 delivers amazing images (never needs to be deleted because it’s not clean/clear enough) thanks to new technologies, including 14 megapixels, High-Definition video and powerful 5x wide-angle optical zoom lenses. The new Stylus Tough cameras is able to shoot 720p HD videos and will play video directly through your HDTV via an HDMI cable. The Stylus features two Dual Image Stabilization technologies – mechanical Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization and Digital Image Stabilization – to provide powerful anti-blur solution for capturing georgous images whether the user or the subject is in motion. Other features includes: face detection, 2.7-inch advanced HyperCrystalTM III LCD, LED Illuminator, TruePic III image processor and supports up to 32GB SD memory. The Olympus Stylus Tough 8010 and Stylus Tough 6020 will be available later this month for an estimated street price of $399.99 and $299.99 respectively.
Olympus SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ

The new Olympus SP-800UZ is the world’s smallest 30x wide-angle optical-zoom, and the 15x SP-600UZ – allows you to capture amazing still images and 720p High-Definition videos. The SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ features HD Movie and HDMI control, in-camera panorama and Magic Filter to expand creativity, as well as AF tracking to keep subjects in focus automatically. The SP-800UZ captures 16:9 wide recording format, ideal for playback on your high-definition television or laptop. Additional features of the SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ includes: shadow adjustment technology, TruePic III image processor, two dual image stabilization technologies, face detection, 3-inch advanced high-resolution LCD on the SP-800UZ, 2.7-inch LCD on the SP-600UZ, both cameras supports up to 32GB SD memory. The SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ will be available in March for an estimated street price of $349.99 and $249.99 respectively.
