Patriot Memory expanded their lineup of DDR3 memory solutions with the launch of a ultra-high performance memory, the Viper II Series Sector 5 Edition Extreme Performance DDR3 memory for Intel P55 platforms. It passes a thorough qualification and screening process on multiple high-performance Intel PS5 platforms and Intel Core i7 processors. At the high operating frequency, the RAM is able to operate with timings of 9-11-9-27. The heat spreader used on the RAM is aluminum. Patriot is offering the new RAM in three 4GB kits with a pair of 2GB modules. The 2500 MHz kit mentioned and a 2400MHz kit with the same timings will be offered along with a 2133MHz kit with 9-9-9-27 timings.
