quiet vacuum cleaner
Did you ever consider the possibility that vacuum cleaners might be silent? When Electrolux came up with the Silence Amplified, the “most silent vacuum cleaner ever made”, it decided to do something useful with all that extra quietness (the machine operates at just 68dB) that it had left in its wake. To illustrate this point, Electrolux packed an iPod dock and integrated speakers into the unit, so you can literally play music and vacuum at the same time. At first, this seems absurd, but why not? Sadly the iPod-dock version of this vacuum cleaner won’t be mass produced, but it still feels good to know of such a possibility.

The quietest vacuum cleaner ever

The technique Silent Air Technology ™ provides a high air flow for optimum suction power, while the noise level is low. Vacuum cleaner inside, from the nozzle to the exhaust, is aerodynamically designed. The engine “floats” inside the machine body to reduce vibration and held in place by its own suction. All this together creates the most silent vacuum ever, with 68dB (A).

Excellent cleaning ability

AeroPro nozzle contributes to both the low noise level and the effectiveness of the cleaning ability of Ultra-silencer. There are several models and all systems AeroPro-nozzles and hoses are completely sealed and provide a high air flow and a high suction, which means the effective absorption of dust. AeroPro nozzle is double articulated, which together with the soft wheels offer a simple and precise maneuvering, and an excellent absorption of dust on all surfaces.

Clean air with HEPA filtration

Once you have captured dust particles, it is important to keep them in place. It is therefore Ultra-silencer is completely sealed – from the nozzle to the outlet. Before placing the air again passes through an extremely efficient HEPA filter to clean the air up to 99.95% (HEPA 13). The air Ultra-silencer place is actually cleaner than the air sucked into the vacuum cleaner.

68dB (A) is quieter than you think. You believe it when you hear it!

A reduction of 3dB (A) means that the sound intensity (sound pressure level, as it is known scientifically) is halved. Since the scale is logarithmic, it means that the average vacuum cleaner at 78dB (A) has a noise level that is ten times higher than Ultra-silencer! To experience the difference in real life – try Ultra-silencer in your store. You may not believe it at first, but you will notice the difference when you hear it.
